Search the Public Register of medical practitioners for registration and other details.
New laws commenced on 1 January 2010 that require registered doctors to report certain types of misconduct committed by their colleagues to the Medical Board.
This means, if a doctor is aware, or reasonably suspects, that another doctor has engaged in reportable misconduct, they must inform the Board in writing as soon as possible.
Mandatory reporting is supplementary to, rather than a replacement of your existing obligations to report misconduct.
